Hey ya’ll! I’m not much of a tutorial person, but this was a technique that I learned from Syuzuki, one of my favorite artists back in the day, when I was 13. I memorized the technique and it’s been one of the most useful things I can do on photoshop. This was something that really helped me, and I hope that it will be useful for even some of you.
In this tutorial, I will be going step by step how I take something from my sketchbook and color it on photoshop.
here’s a tip: if you start dating a depressed person, don’t be surprised if they are still depressed while they are dating you. they’re not depressed because they’re single, and you are not an all-powerful cure for mental illnesses. just be there for them.
White People: “You blacks need to get over what we did to you. It was so long ago and it wasn’t even that bad. So what if us honest hard working christians could attend a lynching after church, where’s the issue in that?”
this shit was happening like 40 fucking years ago
hell this shit STILL HAPPENS
mind blowing
The fact that he has on a u.s. army sweatshirt is just …..
these two guys (including Army sweatshirt guy) were helping the one guy escape a white mob
there’s another photo of them helping him walk away to safety
who knows what really happened, history is all fucked up.
history is incredibly fucked up and the 1943 race riots in Detroit were incredibly fucked up
but the second photo is much more clear about the interactions between these three. Source on the 2nd photo was an issue of Life magazine from the time.
Well done Tumblr. You posted a picture without context and made two of the nicest people look like complete monsters.
THIS IS AN EXACT REPRESENTATION OF MEDIA MAKING YOU SEE WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO SEE
How do you get the side thingys on the side of your blog? The "Knight of Space" and "Derse Dreamer" thingys.
aight!
if you click the titles under the banners it will bring you to the forum page of the person who made them- tawny!
theyre all there, so you pick the one that applies to you, and copy the HTML in the textbox next to it
now, im not very good at html, and my memory is a bit hazy, but you go to the customization page for your blog, and click ‘edit html’
find the 'body’ part of all that html there (begins with <body> and ends with </body>) and thats where you paste the text you got for your banner.
it might not come out exactly as you want, since themes are annoying in that way, but if you just tweak where you paste the text, you can figure out how to get it as you want it.
