Among those hyper-masculine ideals are gems like, “Men can’t get raped” and “Women can’t abuse men.” The problem with those things is that they CAN happen and they DO happen, but our patriarchal society REFUSES to recognize them. Hence why you DO need Feminism, because our main goal is to spread equality by stopping our patriarchal society from perpetrating archaic hyper-masculinity which is damaging to all genders.
