mgthejerkbender:

it’s important to make posts that bring attention to male victims of rape and to fight the stigma that they, and all rape victims, go through

but when you throw women under the bus to do it, saying that no one cares about men, that men have it so much worse, that women need to care more about men, then you can get out because you are not helping the problem

This is all the welcome I get?

I flipped the fuck out when I saw this, and I’m sure everyone else did too, so for those of you who don’t know this is reportedly from Code Geass: Akihito the Exiled, a two part OVA that apparently takes place between R1 and R2. Lelouch is not the main character btw. Time to go watch this.

I hate when you like talking to someone, but you don’t want to come across as annoying/weird, so you just kind of ignore them until they talk to you

because I am pretty sure I annoy 99% of the people who ever talk to me.

The Lost Generation of Japanese Internet Cafe Kids

Japanese internet cafes are good. So good that people are living there – literally.

Japanese internet cafes (also known as manga cafes) offer comfortable lay-flat chairs. They’re semi-private and have food, showers, free drinks and ice cream, a massive library of books, manga, video games, magazines and movies. They even have internet!

It’s cheap to stay over night in an internet cafe. Often it’s around 1000~2000 yen ($10-20 USD).

Some young Japanese live in the cafes for weeks, months or even years. Moving from cafe to cafe each night.

Most internet cafe kids are engaged in casual employment of some kind. Many find the cafes a convenient alternative to an expensive Tokyo or Osaka apartment. They may also lack the down payment that’s required for an apartment (key money, deposit and agent fees often total 6 months rent).

Most internet kids aren’t truly homeless. Many could easily live with parents or relatives but find the cafes convenient.

Manga cafes — unlimited free sugar, video games, movies, manga. Many kids may feel it’s better than home.

Excuse me while i move here

actually, a random thought hit me when i fell into sleep a few days ago

where like

what if trainer rp blog au (i was thinking homestuck crossovers, but i always do, so) with their own friendcodes

and people are made gym leaders n shit

and have a team for their gym so people can challenge them and ‘earn’ their badges.

people get into groups and have adventures

and battle and stuff

starting to sound a little DnD-y but yeah

I’d probably take a leaf out of nessie’s Trainer!Jade’s book and have a -theme-, instead of a type. Like all birds or all bears or canines or somethin’.

And so you should feel squishy!
Just put everything in perspective before you accept a defeat or a win. Realize the differences in team, the training put in, and the tactics used. Part way through the battle, you actually had me pretty worried! Especially with that Dragonbreath while I was still powering up Tangaroa.
And your Retaliation plan was p/ damn genius, yo! That was a smart move!

honestly i think the world would have ended if i had somehow won

like that wouldnt have been right in the world.

also,

i am so glad i kept retaliation

thing is, im starting to get a handle on this thing people call ‘strategy’

whereas my approach in all pokemon games before this has been 'ew defensive moves fuck that i only want offense’

bit of a shame my malamar didnt get to do much of anything, though- sometimes im fond of his approach, but he doesnt take switching in very well
