• and then the bracelets but idk what’s up with that culturally or not

^ Dude what this person said. I inherited a lot of my Aunt’s jewelry which included a ton of turquoise jewelry. Admittedly it’s also really common because of it’s importance - you cannot walk two steps without finding a Native American with some turquoise or finding some in a Native-run shop - but that doesn’t lessen the fact that YEAH culturally turquoise is really important.

BONUS: My Dad’s wedding ring has turquoise stone instead of diamond. He’s part Cherokee and I think he inherited it from my Grandfather, who was also Cherokee. 

Think about that for a minute.
