people always interrupt me to tell another story because apparently my story isn’t good enough for their ears

i repeat because this happens a lot: people interrupt me and never let me finish and i feel really shitty about myself because no one seems to want to listen to me
you know, i’m a raging lesbian and i was never distracted by what other girls in my classes were wearing in high school. this is a male problem, not an “attracted to women” problem.
every single shoe would fit you every single time you tried it on, every single article of clothing would fit your perfectly, all you have to do is transform slightly, you’d never run out of ‘your size’ again
and you wouldn’t have to work for it at all, and you’d never be limitted by your bone structure or something. You could just transform at will.
I don’t see how this is much of a downside
When you turn into a sixty story tentacle demon and terrorize a city you want to get the credit you deserve

Just last month June 29th 2013, Gabriella Calhoun would be beaten unconscious by police. Gabby is an honor student at Wiley College. She finished high school a year early and went to college a year before the rest of her cohort. After a party on a nice summer night Gabriella decided to head to Denny’s with Friends to get something to eat. While sitting at her table inside Denny’s a fight broke out outside between two girls who were unrelated to her party.
The police were called, Gabriella’s table had just ordered their drinks. The officers arrived and broke up the fight. They ended up macing one of the girls fighting. They then allowed the girls to go inside Denny’s to “Clean themselves up” meanwhile the officers entered Denny’s and asked a person (Black Male) from Gabriella’s party did they have anything to do with it. He told the officers “No we were not involved”. The officers went back outside, then the two girls who were allowed to “Clean themselves up” saw each other inside Denny’s and began fighting again…
Officers rushed back inside Denny’s to break up the fight again, after dismantling the girls fighting they then approached the same person from Gabriella’s Party (Black Male) and commanded him to come outside. Gabriella shocked and outraged at what was going on follows her friend outside and grabs his side…
From behind an officer grabs Gabriella by her neck and arm. Gabriella shocked and scared reacted by trying to pull away because she could not see who was grabbing her. According to witnesses after attempting to pull away Gabriella was then struck by the officer with a nightstick and knocked unconscious.
After regaining consciousness Gabby stated: “I awoke spitting my teeth out on the ground…. When I came to, the officer begin to choke me again. When I was finally able to talk, I asked the officer to please let me go because I have asthma, but she [the officer], said, ‘I don’t care if you have asthma. You were hitting my officer.’”
“Afterward, the officer kept saying over and over again, ‘how was your party’ as she held my face to the ground.”
The officer (female cop) then lifted the petite honor student off of the ground, at which her breasts were exposed because the tube top shirt she was wearing had rolled down…
Gabriella was then sent to the precinct where she was booked on one charge of felony aggravated battery and two misdemeanors for resisting arrest.”
Just wanted to spread awareness on the situation the incident happened in Bloomington, IL it is said that Jesse Jackson is now in the process of seeking justice for the case. One of the main contributors to this information was writer Yolanda Spivey.

A man came to our class once,
he claimed to be a fair judge
with daughters he loved.
He asked a question to the class:
“When should a minor be tried
as an adult?”
and students began raising their hand
“murder”
he wrote it up on the board.
“robbery”
he wrote it up on the board.
I said, “Rape”
and he paused, he asked
for clarification
“You mean violent rape?”
“no I mean rape.
It is all the same.”
he looked to a boy
who said “rape only if
he used a weapon and
hurt her.”
and I said, “rape is rape,
whether his weapon is a knife,
drugs, or guilt. She said no.”
he shook his head,
and wrote
“Violent rape” on the board
anyways.
I never understood,
because you can kill somebody
quietly and peacefully with drugs,
or with guns and knives or cars;
but nobody cares if the murder was “violent”
it was still murder.
