Especialy that second picture very much so like brains I like the POM drink but im not so sure about pomegranates themselves I am undecided tbh every time I hear the word pomegranate it makes me think of this x and I smile.  The bit at the beginning though :3 THEY ARE MY FAVES -sigh

Anon isnt actually talking about a picture of a pomagranate. Theyre referring to art that was posted in which The Signless (character from Homestuck) was eating something really messy and honestly i also thought it was gore and blood. At first glance i thought he was eating a mutantblood grub so….

Maybe look into the backstory of the situation beforehand so you all dont end up making fun of something that didnt happen.

because the remaining important information is the depicted item was still a pomegranate. I was linking to the fruit picture, not to intentionally upset anyone as I was accused last night, but because I thought the anon was actually challenging me over lying about it being a fruit. I also linked it because that was the exact photo I used for reference when I was painting.

the other really important part is  the character in question is a very young child with a very hard to eat fruit (and we’ve all seen toddlers eat. it’s a mess. even the prettiest cake would have ended up looking like that in those nubby little hands)
