basically ever since I tweeted the first tweet… I’ve had to combat the most ignorant white souls on this planet… All of them using the same excuses.. All of them making it about themselves rather than admitting the injustices..All of them calling me racist for speaking the truth… The sad thing is for once I can say people on tumblr understand more than twitter…

It’s saddening and disgusting that they still attempt to remain blind.. It’s exhausting and I’m sick of educating the hopeless..

ALL of the facts and proof but you still bypass it all to say “NOT ALL WHITE PEOPLE” They care more about not looking racist than they do about the injustices that have occurred

Police In Thailand Lay Down Vests and Barricades In Solidarity With Protestors | Political Blind Spot

In a stunning turn of events today in Thailand, riot police yielded to the peaceful protesters they were ordered to harass and blocked. They police removing barricades and their helmets as a sign of solidarity.

The protesters explain that their goal is to destroy the political machine of former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, who is accused of widespread corruption and abuse of power. Thaksin’s sister, Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra, is currently in power, and is seen as a puppet of her brother.

Suthep Thaugsuban, the leader of the widespread protests that have been going on in Thailand, told his supporters to storm the Bangkok Metropolitan Police Bureau. This was one of the primary buildings they vowed to take over in their vow to topple the Shinawatra government.

The move by police has surprised many, and marks a turning point in the protests and a potential shift in power.

can we just talk about the fact that, regardless of literally every other factor contributing to Mike Brown’s death, the asshole that killed him showed no sympathy, he even went and got married while he was on paid leave because he could not give less of a shit about the fact he took a kid’s life.

any fucking normal person with actual morals that wasn’t a piece of shit would feel fucking bad about killing someone, even if it had been in self defense.

Mike Brown’s Mom Is Taking Her Son’s Case to the UN in Geneva

Lesley McSpadden, the mother of the 18-year-old boy whose death at the hands of a Ferguson police officer in August sparked weeks of protests, is going to Geneva, Switzerland next month to speak about her son and other victims of police brutality in front of the United Nations.

The trip — which was recently made public by organizers and promoted under the taglineFerguson to Geneva — is meant to make a case, to as wide an audience as possible, that both Brown’s killing and the militarized police response to protesters demanding justice for him, are a matter of human rights.

The next time someone says catcalling is harmless, show them this story

In the latest example of street harassment turned violent, a San Francisco man was nearly murdered after telling a man to stop harassing, or catcalling, his girlfriend. Local man Ben Schwartz was stabbed at least nine times, almost to death, by the currently-unidentified stranger.

“At first we tried to just ignore it, just kind of walk away and make our way home, cross the street and try to take a different path,” Schwartz told ABC 7. But when the unidentified man kept following the couple, Schwartz prepared himself for a confrontation. “It turned violent very quickly, punches thrown,” he said. “Next thing I know, I kinda had a knife in the back of my neck.”

To raise money for his medical bills, a GoFundMe campaign page has been created.

Now people will take cat calling seriously because when a nice guy stands up to a creep he gets beaten up. No one believes women, even when we’re dying for standing up for ourselves.

Bob McCulloch pointed out a lot of inconsistencies in testimony yesterday.

None of these, I think.

Why do you people have to make everything about race???

  1. Long answer: White Europeans decided to colonize the rest of the world. They enslaved, massacred, segregated, displaced, tortured, disenfranchised, and raped other racial groups. They stole land, resources, and art. They put other races in zoos and death camps. They destroyed written and pictorial history. They suppressed the religions of other races. They dehumanized us. They refused to teach the history of these atrocities in their schools. They refused to acknowledge the achievements of other races. They used the theory of their racial superiority as their excuse. All social institutions reflect this history. All affected racial groups are still feeling the aftereffects of this. So it tends to come up a lot.
  2. Short answer: Please shut up.
