A vertical forest is expected to be completed this year in Milan. There are two tower apartment complexes which contain a total of 400 residential units. The facade of the buildings will be covered with 730 trees, 5,000 shrubs, and 11,000 perennial plants. It is expected to have the same ecological impact as 10,000 square meters of forest.
Aside from fighting smog and producing oxygen, the foliage is expected to provide insulation to the residential units.

The hashtag #CrimingWhileWhite became a platform to illustrate what often happens when white people engage in criminal activity. But despite the good intentions of those who participated, many others felt like the hashtag detracted from conversations about the value of black lives.
the folk who are complaining about the fact that people protesting these holiday events (the thanksgiving parade, tree lighting ect) fail to realize these grand juries did this on purpose. they deliberately decided to release the decisions to not indict these officers near holidays bc they knew these things would happen
people would try to brush over the horrible things that are happening for the sake of a holiday event thats gonna happen every year to try and make things ‘blow over’ quickly.
the people who are protesting the decisions are going to be seen as ‘agitators’ and be painted negatively, they are being seen as people trying to ruin everyone else’s ‘good time’ and ‘messing it up for the children’.
these things were strategically done to try .and create negative sediment towards people who stand up against injustice and so many of yall is falling for it.

Where there are wolves, there are ravens. Ravens follow wolves around a lot, mostly because they just seem to like them. They aren’t known to follow other predators and they prefer to eat with the wolves instead of alone. Source
it’s mutualism! Ravens circle ungulate herds and wolf packs, wolves see them, find the animal faster, kill the animal and open up the carcass(which ravens can’t peck through), and then the ravens eat and the nice juicy bits.
oh, and the pet anology is back-assward. ravens play with wolves. and more importantly, wolf pups. you know how animals raised together from a young age are super tolerant of one another? ravens exploit that to get better access to carcasses.
Ravens, and other crows, are some of the world’s most intelligent animals, passing tests even chimpanzees and some humans fail at. They use tools, they plan ahead, they can think in multiple steps and use their environments to get food. They’ve even been known to fashion tools such as hooks from metal wires and understand water displacement.
Wolves on the other hand are basically large wild dogs.
If anyone’s manipulating and using the other it’s the ravens.
What we can observe: animals coexisting.
What we assume: one animal is manipulating the other, the “smart” animals are taking advantage of the “dumb” ones; likening the ravens to the human role.
What we assumed wrong: that the human role with dogs was anything like the above detached decision to domesticate puppies. Current evidence implies that dogs had a larger role in their own domestication than humans did, and basically moved in with us first. But this doesn’t fit in with the Aryan caveman mythology of a survival-of-the-fittest paleolithic sociopath viewing prey as bags of meat on legs and other creatures as threats or possible resources on legs and women as wombs on legs. What is likely given the limited evidence: neither ravens nor wolves have the power to imprison, control, or discipline the other. The ravens could leave and the wolves couldn’t stop them, and if the wolves didn’t like the ravens they could bite them in half. We have no evidence that this relationship is hierarchical, and no evidence that either would have the power to impose a hierarchy, and ravens brainwashing baby wolves to obey them is a bit more of a stretch than babies being universally adorable and everyone liking to play with them. It might acclimate them to their presence, but that still isn’t a hierarchical relationship, or necessarily a premeditated manipulation rather than something immediately rewarding. It is true that ravens are intelligent, but domination of other beings does not follow naturally from intelligence, and there’s no evidence that other species would see such a thing as rational. A tapeworm uses and manipulates other beings for its own benefit, and does not need intelligence to do it. Therefore intelligence and a parasitic nature can be seen to be two traits which may or may not coexist.
From the limited evidence, it would appear that the wolves and the ravens are friends, and that neither is subordinate to the other. That’s goth AND communist.

Whoever this Sith lord is he looked at the last few decades of lightsaber combat and saw Anakin/Vader, General Grievous, Count Dooku and Luke Skywalker all have arms cut off and went “fuck that, none of that for me”.
This is a smart lightsaber.
Except its not… the physical cross section of the hilt makes the crossguard absolutely useless, imagine a real sword where the crossguard is attached with plastic ans you’ll see why people dont like this light saber
Mandalorian steel and cortosis fibres are rare, expensive, and resistant to lightsaber attacks. If the physical part of the crossguard is made from those it’s fine. There’ve even been physical weapons shown in the films themselves that could parry lightsaber attacks. So yeah no.
Vonduun crab shells are lightsaber resistant too, but they can’t attach that to a lightsaber.
Also, the lightsaber resistance capabilities of mandalorian iron were created during the forging process, a little known process that only master mandalore blacksmiths would know. Considering Jedi/sith BUILD THEIR OWN LIGHTSABERS, I doubt this particular sith would have the capabilities to do both, let alone fuse it with the lightsaber hilt.
I remain unconvinced.

Tragedy, another child is dead because of police aggression. Keith Vidal, who had just celebrated his 18th birthday last month, was killed by a police officer who responded to the family’s Boiling Spring Lakes home Sunday afternoon.
Police responded to his house after Vidal, who according to parents, is schizophrenic, picked up a screw driver and refused to put it down.
Mark Wilsey Sr., Kieth’s father, told reporters, two responding officers were able to calm Vidal before another officer walked into the family’s home.
It was when the third officer walked in that the 90-pound teen was stunned with a Tazer and fell to the floor.
According to Antohony Owens, a family friend, Vidal Collapsed backwards on to the floor the two officers jumped on top of the 5ft 3 100 lb Vidal to restrain him.
As Vidal’s Father tried to step in and grab the screw driver the Southport Police Officer that had instructed the other officers to use their tasers, moved between the father and the pile of people on the floor and said “We don’t have time for this” and shot Vidal Once in the chest as the other two Officers held him on the floor.
Vidal’s father then grabbed the officer as he was lining himself up for another shot.
This morning an event report of the incident was released that mirrors the family’s recount.
